Ever been the only vegan at a party? We’ve all been there! Sometimes the non-vegans are genuinely interested in learning more about the environmental and ethical reasons you’ve chosen to crack down on cruelty. Other times they’re just wanting to joke with you about how many cows they eat. Either way, you’re sure to field quite a few of these Qs while chowing down on your jackfruit BBQ.
You know when you have a crazy snack attack and there’s absolutely nothing in your kitchen to cure it? That recently happened to me, and then the mail carrier delivered a package–a very recognizable package. It was my May Vegan Cuts Snack Box! I opened it right then and there because I knew that Jackie from Vegan Yack Attack helped curate the contents. If you follow her blog, you know that she’s pretty serious about food. Thanks to Jackie, I wisely tamed my snack attack with a medley of chips, a sweet sesame spread, olives, and DIY pizza crust mix (plus so much more!).
